The forum and convention week is packed full of classes, instruction, education, training and networking for attendees from all over the nation. The Ballet Forum runs Monday, July 15 - Friday, July 19. And the Student Sessions, which will include additional ASOD friends/dancers, runs Saturday, Juy 20 - Monday, July 22.
The five day ballet intensive provides students the opportunity to study with professional classical ballet faculty. With low attendee-to-faculty ratios, these dancers will receive an intimate and focused continued education in technique and methods of dance. In addition, each of our dancers will begin certification coursework for the CNADM Student Honors Program. This intensive training and curriculum will educate our dancers to eventually test and be certified to teach dance in the future. At the conclusion of this forum, students will participate in the creation of a new ballet, and then perform at the Ballet Gala.
By the weekend, the exposure to world-renowned, professional dancers broadens signficantly. Two and a half days packed full of jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, modern, musical theatre and contemporary. These Student Session workshops are designed to further inspire and enhance the development of these young dancers. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the Student Competition at the end of the week long adventure.
Your support and contributions will help provide us the opportunity to attend this educational, intensive training. ALL proceeds will go directly to the dancer of your choice to cover registration fees and travel costs. Gifts will be identified by donor and awarded by student upon the fundraiser closing (May 20, 2019).
